Description

Eminent noble residence, surrounded by a magnificient park, it includes among its most famous guests the members of the British Royal Family and is clearly distinguishable thanks to its standing "torresino".
Counts Zanardi Landi still live here. This castle is entirely furnished and is home to the new Museum of the Military Costume of Lepanto.


History

Documented already from 1048, the castle becomes part of Landi kingdom in XIV century, that are the current owners, thanks to Counts Zanardi Landi.
The Honour Room, the dining room, the kitchen, the cellars, the prisons, the bedrooms, the tower, the room of arms, the gallery, the room of the billiard, the museum of the military costume can be visited.
The castle has, in the close hamlet, 12 luxury rooms.


Visit Path

Facade, courtyard, Honour room, dining room, kitchen, cellar, prisons, bedrooms, torresino, Room of Arms (Musem of Lepanto battle), Museum of Holy Art and Explorations, museum of the military costume, gallery, room of the billiard.
From the 2012, the new museum of the military costume is open inside the Castle and is home to 90 uniforms, arms, portraits and various documents from Risorgimento to the second World War.


Meeting

The eminent residence of Counts Zanardi Landi is a suggestive and elegant frame  for congresses and meetings.

Rivalta is the perfect setting for banquets and feasts, with its refined and fascinating atmosphere and its three main halls that can contain up to 250 guests.

September, October, November Saturdays at 11, 15.20, 16.40 and 18*, holidays at 10.30, 12*, 15.20, 16.40 and 18*; weekdays upon booking only.
